Draft the request

File the delivery record
Keep the tracking record with your copy of the letter. If Filosofie Magazine bills you after the date it received the request, you have the dates to point to.

Cancelling a news or magazine subscription
Publishers often move you from an introductory price to the standard rate and can steer cancellations towards phone or chat, so a written request is the record that you asked.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
