Before writing, collect the name and email on the account and, if you have one, an account or customer number. Kraft Der Sterne can only act on a request it can match to an account.
Draft the request
Because Kraft Der Sterne is dealt with in Hungarian, the letter is written in Hungarian (template hu). Subject: “Tárgy: Lemondási kérelem – [your name]”. It requests an end to the subscription and to every further charge, plus written confirmation.
Post it with proof of delivery
Mail the letter by certified mail to the Budapest address in the next section, and keep the tracking number.
Keep the proof of delivery
Keep the tracking record with your copy of the letter. If Kraft Der Sterne bills you after the date it received the request, you have the dates to point to.

Before you cancel Kraft Der Sterne, check these
- Look for annual or multi-month plans. A plan paid in advance usually runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Write well before the next billing date. A request that arrives after it can leave one more charge on your statement.
- If an app store or phone carrier bills you, the company cannot cancel it. Cancel with that partner as well.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

How cancelling by mail works
A subscription ends when the company records your request, not when you stop using it, and a letter is the record you can show later.
A mailed letter is slower than a phone call but it is the version that proves what you asked for and when.
