How to cancel AFS Interculturele Programma's VZW by mail
Note your account details
Put the name and email on the account and, if you have one, an account or customer number in front of you before you write: the request to AFS Interculturele Programma's VZW is only as good as the details it quotes.
Put the request in writing
AFS Interculturele Programma's VZW is based in Belgium, so the letter goes out in French, built from our French template. Subject line: “Objet : Demande d'annulation – [your name]”. It asks for the subscription to end, for further charges to stop and for written confirmation.
Post the letter
Use certified mail for the 2800 Mechelen address in the next section, so the post office records the delivery. Write down the tracking number.
Save the tracking record
Keep the tracking record with your copy of the letter. If AFS Interculturele Programma's VZW bills you after the date it received the request, you have the dates to point to.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel AFS Interculturele Programma's VZW, check these
- Use the same name and email as on the account. A mismatch can delay the request.
- Check your next statement: no charge should appear after the cancellation date.
- Look for annual or multi-month plans. A plan paid in advance usually runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

How cancelling by mail works
A subscription ends when the company records your request, not when you stop using it, and a letter is the record you can show later.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
