How to cancel Burgerverein Sage by mail
Start with your account details
Before writing, collect the name and email on the account and, if you have one, an account or customer number. Burgerverein Sage can only act on a request it can match to an account.
Prepare the letter
Burgerverein Sage is based in Germany, so the letter goes out in German, built from our German template. Subject line: “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]”. It asks for the subscription to end, for further charges to stop and for written confirmation.
Send it by certified mail
Use certified mail for the 26197 Großenkneten address in the next section, so the post office records the delivery. Write down the tracking number.
Keep the proof of delivery
It shows the date Burgerverein Sage received your letter. Check your next statement: no Burgerverein Sage charge should post after the cancellation date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Burgerverein Sage, check these
- If an app store or phone carrier bills you, the company cannot cancel it. Cancel with that partner as well.
- Cancelling usually ends access at the end of the period you paid for, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- Use the same name and email as on the account. A mismatch can delay the request.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

How cancelling by mail works
A subscription ends when the company records your request, not when you stop using it, and a letter is the record you can show later.
A mailed letter is slower than a phone call but it is the version that proves what you asked for and when.
