How to cancel Computerwissen Vertrage by mail
Gather your account details
Check the name and email on the account and, if you have one, an account or customer number before anything else. A request that does not match the account on file at Computerwissen Vertrage is the easiest one to set aside.
Write the cancellation request
Computerwissen Vertrage is based in Germany, so the letter goes out in German, built from our German template. Subject line: “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]”. It asks for the subscription to end, for further charges to stop and for written confirmation.
Send the letter by certified mail
Address the envelope to Computerwissen Vertrage, Bonn, exactly as printed in the next section. Certified mail gives you a tracking number and a delivery record.
Hold on to the receipt
Once the letter is delivered, the date on the receipt is the date Computerwissen Vertrage was told. Compare it with your statements over the next billing cycle.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Computerwissen Vertrage, check these
- If an app store or phone carrier bills you, the company cannot cancel it. Cancel with that partner as well.
- Cancelling usually ends access at the end of the period you paid for, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- Use the same name and email as on the account. A mismatch can delay the request.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

How cancelling by mail works
A subscription ends when the company records your request, not when you stop using it, and a letter is the record you can show later.
Putting the request in writing means there is a date on file for when you asked, which matters if a charge appears afterwards.
