How to address the envelope
Copy it exactly onto the envelope
The front of the envelope carries Postbus 23620, 1100 EC Amsterdam, Netherlands and nothing else in the address block. Check the 1100 EC digit by digit before it goes in the post.
Add the return address
Your name and postal address go top-left on the front (or the back flap). If the letter cannot be delivered it comes back to you, which is itself evidence of the attempt.
Send it by certified mail
At the counter, certified mail costs a fee on top of the postage and comes with a mailing receipt and a delivery record. The tracking number on the green label is what you follow.
