How to cancel Tantan by mail
Collect the details you need
Before writing, collect the email address or phone number on the profile and the subscription length you chose. Tantan can only act on a request it can match to an account.
Draft the request
Postbye writes the letter in Chinese from our Chinese template, because Tantan's address is in China. It opens with the subject line “主题：取消请求 – [your name]” and asks Tantan to end the subscription, stop all further charges and confirm in writing.
Post the letter
Take the letter to the post office and ask for certified delivery to 100015 Beijing. Keep the tracking number it gives you.
File the delivery record
The receipt dates your request. Look at your next statement for any Tantan charge after that date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Cancelling a dating subscription
Dating subscriptions often renew in multi-month blocks, and deleting the profile or the app does not stop the billing, so the request has to end the subscription itself.
Putting the request in writing means there is a date on file for when you asked, which matters if a charge appears afterwards.
