How to address the envelope
Write the address as printed
One address block, copied whole: Level 5; 2 Market Lane, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. If any line differs from the card above, start the envelope again.
Add your return address
Your name and postal address go top-left on the front (or the back flap). If the letter cannot be delivered it comes back to you, which is itself evidence of the attempt.
Ask for certified mail
At the counter, certified mail costs a fee on top of the postage and comes with a mailing receipt and a delivery record. The tracking number on the green label is what you follow.
Keep the proof together
Hold on to the letter copy, the receipt and the tracking page.
The cancellation letter
The request itself is short: Trade Me is asked to end the account, stop the charges and confirm in writing, with your member number, the name on the membership and the renewal date shown on your latest invoice where the brackets are.
