How to cancel Viapi by mail
Note your account details
Viapi will look your account up from what the letter says, so check the name and email on the account and, if you have one, an account or customer number first.
Prepare the letter
Postbye writes the letter in French from our French template, because Viapi's address is in France. It opens with the subject line “Objet : Demande d'annulation – [your name]” and asks Viapi to end the subscription, stop all further charges and confirm in writing.
Post it with proof of delivery
Use certified mail for the 75001 Paris address in the next section, so the post office records the delivery. Write down the tracking number.
Keep the delivery receipt
Once the letter is delivered, the date on the receipt is the date Viapi was told. Compare it with your statements over the next billing cycle.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Viapi, check these
- If an app store or phone carrier bills you, the company cannot cancel it. Cancel with that partner as well.
- Cancelling usually ends access at the end of the period you paid for, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- Use the same name and email as on the account. A mismatch can delay the request.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

How cancelling by mail works
Subscriptions renew automatically, and a written request is the clearest record that you asked to stop it before the next billing date.
A mailed letter is slower than a phone call but it is the version that proves what you asked for and when.
