How to cancel Warcraft by mail
Gather your account details
Start with the account email or gamer tag, the platform you pay through and the subscription name, so the request to Warcraft names the right account the first time.
Write your request
Warcraft is based in Germany, so the letter goes out in German, built from our German template. Subject line: “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]”. It asks for the subscription to end, for further charges to stop and for written confirmation.
Post it with proof of delivery
Mail the letter by certified mail to the München address in the next section, and keep the tracking number.
Save the tracking record
It shows the date Warcraft received your letter. Check your next statement: no Warcraft charge should post after the cancellation date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.
Where your Warcraft cancellation letter goes
Warcraft lists Maximilianstr. 35c, 80539 München, Germany as its mailing address.
The envelope is going to München in Bayern, Germany, so the postcode 80539 must be on the front.
The letter is addressed “Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,” and its details block uses the labels Kontoinhaber, Hinterlegte Rechnungsadresse and Hinterlegte E-Mail-Adresse.

Before you cancel Warcraft, check these
- Look at the statement after the cancellation date for any further charge.
- Check which platform bills you: the game, a console maker or an app store.
- Stacked or prepaid time can keep running after you cancel. Check the end date.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a gaming subscription
Gaming subscriptions are frequently billed by a console or PC platform and can stack with other plans, so the request has to reach whoever shows up on the statement.
A letter is the formal route: it states the request in writing, carries a date and, sent by certified mail, comes with proof of delivery.
