How to cancel Broadway Gym by mail
Start with your account details
Have your membership number, the home club you joined at and the name on the membership agreement to hand. The details in the letter need to match what Broadway Gym has on file.
Write the cancellation request
State plainly that you want the Broadway Gym account cancelled, further charges stopped and a written confirmation sent to you. Postbye sets this out in a ready English template (“Subject: Cancellation Request – [your name]”).
Send the letter by certified mail
Address the envelope to Broadway Gym, Glebe, exactly as printed in the next section. Certified mail gives you a tracking number and a delivery record.
File the delivery record
It shows the date Broadway Gym received your letter. Check your next statement: no Broadway Gym charge should post after the cancellation date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Broadway Gym, check these
- A home club can have its own rules. Name the club in the letter so the request is not bounced between locations.
- Freezing or pausing a membership is not cancelling it. Say clearly that you want the membership ended.
- Read the notice window in your agreement. A letter that arrives after the cut-off can miss that month's charge.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a gym or fitness membership
Gyms often require written notice, set a notice window before the next billing date and can tie the cancellation to the home club, so a dated letter is the record that counts.
A letter is the formal route: it states the request in writing, carries a date and, sent by certified mail, comes with proof of delivery.
