How to cancel Hemayat by mail
Collect the details you need
You will need your donor or supporter number, the name on the donation and the amount and date of the latest payment. Use exactly the details Hemayat holds, so the request can be matched to your account.
Put the request in writing
Postbye writes the letter in German from our German template, because Hemayat's address is in Austria. It opens with the subject line “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]” and asks Hemayat to end the subscription, stop all further charges and confirm in writing.
Send it by certified mail
Post it by certified mail to Hemayat in Wien, Austria, using the exact address below, and note the tracking number.
Save the tracking record
File the receipt with the letter. A Hemayat charge dated after delivery is the one to dispute, and these two documents are what you quote.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Hemayat, check these
- Say whether the request covers every regular gift or only one of them.
- Ask the organisation to confirm the end date in writing.
- Quote your donor or supporter number so the right gift is stopped.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a regular donation
Regular donations run until the donor ends them, so a written request should give the donor reference and ask the charity to stop the payment and confirm the end date.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
