How to cancel Meituan by mail
Start with your account details
Meituan will look your account up from what the letter says, so check the email on the account, the delivery address and the plan size or membership name first.
Write the cancellation request
Because Meituan is dealt with in Chinese, the letter is written in Chinese (template zh). Subject: “主题：取消请求 – [your name]”. It requests an end to the subscription and to every further charge, plus written confirmation.
Post it with proof of delivery
Mail the letter by certified mail to the Beijing address in the next section, and keep the tracking number.
Keep the proof of delivery
The receipt dates your request. Look at your next statement for any Meituan charge after that date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Meituan, check these
- Check your statement for the last box that will ship and for any charge after it.
- Orders lock a few days before shipping. A request that arrives after the cut-off stops the box after that.
- Skipping a week is not cancelling the plan. Ask for the subscription itself to be ended.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a meal-kit or food-delivery subscription
Meal-kit and delivery plans lock each order days before it ships, so the cancellation has to arrive before the cut-off for the next box to be stopped.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
