How to cancel Wow Tv by mail
Start with your account details
Before writing, collect the email address on the account, the plan name and, if you can find it, the billing partner shown on your latest statement. Wow Tv can only act on a request it can match to an account.
Write the cancellation request
Postbye writes the letter in German from our German template, because Wow Tv's address is in Germany. It opens with the subject line “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]” and asks Wow Tv to end the subscription, stop all further charges and confirm in writing.
Send the letter by certified mail
Address the envelope to Wow Tv, Unterföhring, exactly as printed in the next section. Certified mail gives you a tracking number and a delivery record.
Keep the delivery receipt
The receipt dates your request. Look at your next statement for any Wow Tv charge after that date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.
Where your Wow Tv cancellation letter goes
Wow Tv takes its post at Medienallee 26, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany, which is where a cancellation letter belongs.
Copy the postal code 85774 exactly: it is what routes the letter to Bayern, Germany.
Your name, address and email appear in a short block labelled Kontoinhaber, Hinterlegte Rechnungsadresse and Hinterlegte E-Mail-Adresse, under the greeting “Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,”.

Before you cancel Wow Tv, check these
- Access normally runs to the end of the period you paid for, so a cancellation does not shorten what you already bought.
- Bundles and add-on channels can be billed separately from the base plan. Ask for every line to be cancelled.
- Check the billing date on your statement and send the request well before it, so the cancellation lands inside the current period.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a streaming or entertainment subscription
Streaming plans renew silently each month, and many are billed by a partner such as an app store or a TV provider rather than the service itself, so the request has to reach whoever actually bills you.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
