How to cancel Atrium Fitness by mail
Gather your account details
Have your membership number, the home club you joined at and the name on the membership agreement to hand. The details in the letter need to match what Atrium Fitness has on file.
Write your request
The request is prepared in German (template de), under the subject line “Betreff: Kündigungsanfrage – [your name]”: end the subscription, stop all further charges and confirm in writing to you.
Mail the letter with a receipt
Take the letter to the post office and ask for certified delivery to 30519 Hannover. Keep the tracking number it gives you.
File the delivery record
File the receipt with the letter. A Atrium Fitness charge dated after delivery is the one to dispute, and these two documents are what you quote.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Atrium Fitness, check these
- Freezing or pausing a membership is not cancelling it. Say clearly that you want the membership ended.
- Read the notice window in your agreement. A letter that arrives after the cut-off can miss that month's charge.
- Annual fees and monthly dues are sometimes billed separately. Ask for both to be ended.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a gym or fitness membership
Gyms often require written notice, set a notice window before the next billing date and can tie the cancellation to the home club, so a dated letter is the record that counts.
A mailed letter is slower than a phone call but it is the version that proves what you asked for and when.
