How to cancel Modo Yoga by mail
Collect the details you need
Put your membership number, the home club you joined at and the name on the membership agreement in front of you before you write: the request to Modo Yoga is only as good as the details it quotes.
Write the cancellation request
Ask Modo Yoga to cancel the account, stop all further charges and confirm in writing. Postbye prepares the letter from our English template, with the subject line “Subject: Cancellation Request – [your name]”.
Send it by certified mail
Mail the letter by certified mail to the Winnipeg address in the next section, and keep the tracking number.
Hold on to the receipt
File the receipt with the letter. A Modo Yoga charge dated after delivery is the one to dispute, and these two documents are what you quote.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

Before you cancel Modo Yoga, check these
- A home club can have its own rules. Name the club in the letter so the request is not bounced between locations.
- Freezing or pausing a membership is not cancelling it. Say clearly that you want the membership ended.
- Read the notice window in your agreement. A letter that arrives after the cut-off can miss that month's charge.
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a gym or fitness membership
Gyms often require written notice, set a notice window before the next billing date and can tie the cancellation to the home club, so a dated letter is the record that counts.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
