How to cancel Reddit by mail
Find your account details
You will need the account email, the plan or product name and the invoice or order number from your latest receipt. Use exactly the details Reddit holds, so the request can be matched to your account.
Prepare the letter
State plainly that you want the Reddit account cancelled, further charges stopped and a written confirmation sent to you. Postbye sets this out in a ready English template (“Subject: Subscription termination – Reddit”).
Post the letter
Take the letter to the post office and ask for certified delivery to 94104-5401 San Francisco. Keep the tracking number it gives you.
Hold on to the receipt
The receipt dates your request. Look at your next statement for any Reddit charge after that date.
With Postbye, steps 2 to 4 take about two minutes of your time.

- Cancelling less than 24 hours before the end does not avoid renewal

- Apple/Google: cancel in the App Store or Google Play subscriptions
Several states set rules for subscriptions that renew on their own. See what yours requires in automatic renewal laws by state.

Cancelling a software or app subscription
Software plans are billed per plan or per seat, often yearly, and the app store version is billed by the store rather than the developer, so the request has to name the plan and who bills it.
A phone call leaves nothing behind; a letter leaves a copy, a date and a delivery receipt.
Reddit lets you cancel directly (by payment method: Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings; card/PayPal via Reddit Premium section in Account Settings on reddit.com). A letter is the fallback that leaves a dated record when the direct route fails.
