What if the company keeps charging me?
Short answer
Compare the date of the charge with the delivery date on your proof. If the charge came after it, send the company your delivery proof and ask for a refund in writing. Tell us so we can follow up, and if the charges continue, dispute them with your card issuer.
Check the dates first
Some charges cover a period that began before your letter arrived, and some agreements need notice a set number of days before the next billing date. Check your agreement’s notice rule before you dispute a charge.
Ask the company for a refund
Write to the company with the delivery date of your letter, list each charge made after that date, and ask for those charges to be refunded. Attach the signed delivery proof.
Tell us
Reply to your confirmation email or write to support@postbye.com with your order reference. We follow up with the company.
Dispute the charge
If you paid by credit card, you can dispute a billing error in writing with your card issuer within 60 days of the statement that shows the charge. Include copies of your letter and your delivery proof.
