What is the POSTBYE charge on my card statement?

Short answer

A charge that reads POSTBYE is a Postbye order: a cancellation letter that you or someone in your household ordered from us, or Postbye Plus, the membership that starts with an order. Sign in with the email used at checkout to see it, or write to support@postbye.com.

What can a POSTBYE charge be?

  • A cancellation letter order: a formal letter we write, print and mail to a company to end a subscription. It is charged when the order is placed, and anything added to the order later is charged when it is added.
  • Postbye Plus, the membership that starts with a trial when a letter is ordered. If it is kept after the trial, it renews every 4 weeks until it is cancelled.

Every Postbye charge shows on card statements as POSTBYE.

How do I find the order behind the charge?

  1. Search your email, spam folder included, for Postbye. The order confirmation names the company the letter went to, the 8-character order reference and the card that was charged.
  2. Sign in to your account with the email address used at checkout. We email you a 6-digit code, no password needed. Your account lists every letter with its tracking, a copy of the letter and the receipt.
  3. Ask the people in your household whether one of them ordered a letter to cancel a subscription.

What if I still do not recognize the charge?

Write to support@postbye.com or call (213) 212-5819. Tell us the date of the charge and the email addresses it may have been ordered with, and we find the order and tell you what it was for. We reply to emails within one business day.

How do I cancel Postbye Plus?

Open Manage your order and enter the email used at checkout and your order reference, or open Membership in your account. It takes effect at once, we email you a confirmation, and a letter already ordered is not affected. You can also write to support@postbye.com and we cancel it for you.
